SaaS Finance Operations Director – Dublin

Job summary

Empleo, in Dublin city, is seeking a Director of Financial Operations & Accounting to own the accounting and financial operations for a high-growth SaaS business. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the finance function and drive automation across processes.

You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, treasury, AP/AR/billing, and a cross-functional team to deliver insights to senior leadership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant PQE.
• Experience in high-growth technology/SaaS environments.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration.
• Corporate finance/M&A experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the month end close process including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Manage financial reporting requirements, including monthly and annual financial statements.
• Lead a high performing finance team.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.
• Oversee treasury operations as well as AP, AR and billing.
• Design, implement and enhance accounting processes and procedures including AI-driven automations across finance processes.
