Job summary

Allied Talent is partnering with a fast-growing SME in Dublin to appoint a Financial Director who will partner with the CFO and lead multi-entity financial operations. A core focus is implementing and integrating finance and BI systems while ensuring robust control, reporting and governance across the Group.

The role reports to the CFO, oversees a finance team, and will drive reporting cycles, FP&A, and audit processes as the business plans strategic acquisitions to double revenue in 3–5 years.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• c. 10 years' post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
• Background in an SME environment, hands on and willing to get into the detail.
• Experience implementing finance and BI systems with cross-functional integration.
• Proven people leadership experience within a finance function.
• Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to Boards and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own financial control, governance and compliance across group operations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive finance systems implementation, automation and process improvement.
• Prepare Board, Investment Committee and lender reporting.
• Lead the annual audit process and maintain audit-ready financial records.
• Lead, mentor and develop the wider finance team.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to Senior Management and operational leadership.
