Job description

Lead the services that give people a life, not just a day.

At Resilience Healthcare, we believe people with disabilities should experience the world on their own terms. Our day services and community supports are where that belief is seen, real lives shaped by the people at the centre of them. The Director of Day Services leads all of that, which will include Day Services plus other community supports such as alternative respite, outreach and supported living.

We are Irelands largest Irish owned private disability services provider and the only B Corp certified disability provider in Ireland. Our 3x/10x ambition – to support three times the people with ten times the positive impact – means this role carries genuine scale and purpose in equal measure.

Why Join Resilience Healthcare?

Resilience Healthcare is the best disability organisation in Ireland to grow your career. We’ve grown consistently for over a decade, and we hold ourselves to the highest standard because the people we support deserve nothing less.

Career

Senior leadership role with full divisional accountability, a seat at the SLT table, and direct influence over the strategic direction of the organisation’s largest growth area.

Impact

You’ll shape the services that determine how people with disabilities experience their community every day.

Support

A strong leadership team in place, clear strategic direction, and a culture built on support, accountability, and continuous improvement.

We also offer: competitive salary (DOE) · family healthcare cover · employer pension · life cover · paid maternity/adoptive leave.

The Role

As Director of Day Services, you’ll lead the delivery, development, and strategic growth of Resilience Healthcare’s day services and community-based supports across Ireland – ensuring full use of services, opening new locations, and building rights-based, person-centred disability services.

You’ll own the divisional budget, grow the division, and maintain the relationships with HSE and key stakeholders that keep the business moving.

What You’ll Lead
  • Strategic growth and rollout of new community service locations in line with the 3x/10x plan
  • Full divisional budget accountability.
  • Quality, governance, and internal audit across all day and community services
  • Safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the division
  • HSE commissioner relationships, service arrangements, and growth opportunities
  • A multidisciplinary leadership team; developing people, embedding values, and building capacity at every level
  • Co-production and self-advocacy; genuinely involving the people we support in shaping their services
What We’re Looking For

A senior leader who combines operational discipline with a genuine commitment to rights-based disability services and the desire and motivation to grow services so that more people can be supported. You’ll also understand the Irish disability landscape.

· Significant senior leadership experience in disability, health, or social care with multi-site accountability

  • Working knowledge of HSE New Directions, HIQA National Standards, the ADM Act 2015, and the UNCRPD
  • Proven track record of leading growth and delivering results in a regulated environment
  • Strong financial acumen – budget ownership, unit economics, and board-level reporting
  • Established relationships with HSE commissioners and key statutory bodies – desirable
  • Relevant third-level qualification in health, social care, business, or a related discipline
