Job summary

St. Michael’s House seeks a CREATE 3 Project Lead to build on digital supports enabling people with disabilities to navigate a digital world. The role collaborates with other disability services to advance national digital inclusion and works across internal teams and external partners.

The post is a full-time, specific purpose contract for about one year with potential extension, reporting to the Director of Nursing. Salary aligns with HSE Grade VI pay scale for a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in the disability sector.
• Experience in training or coaching people with intellectual disabilities.
• A full driving licence.
• Relevant qualification or significant experience in supporting people with a disability to use digital and/or assistive technology.
• Experience in data analysis and report writing.
• Experience in project planning and change management.
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives for marginalised groups.
• Experience in inclusive design and co-production approaches.
• A qualification or training in digital and assistive technologies and/or digital inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Co-design and deliver workshops with and for people with intellectual disabilities.
• Lead a quality improvement initiative to strengthen the voice of people with disabilities through PREMs pathways.
• Support individuals to develop practical digital skills, including online banking and telehealth.
• Deliver online safety training to build digital confidence and awareness of privacy, fraud and cyber risks.
• Develop accessible learning resources (Easy Read, videos, visual supports).
• Promote and support the use of the HSE Health Passport App.
• Work with internal and external partners to promote digital inclusion and assistive tech.
