St. Michael’s House in Dublin is seeking a Direct Support Worker to join our Local Centres in North Dublin.
The role involves supporting people with intellectual disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living, and helping individuals engage with the community. You will work as part of a skilled team, adhere to HIQA regulations, and contribute to personal planning and positive behaviour support plans.

St. Michael's House is a community-based organisation committed to providing a quality person centred service and high standard of day service to people with an intellectual disability in the greater Dublin area.
The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled creative and motivated teams within the Northside of Dublin.
The teams within the Local Centers provide diverse models of care to individuals who function within the moderate to severe ranges of intellectual disability. Supports offered include assisting with activities of daily living and engaging in activation within the Centre and the local community. The goal for all is to engage in meaningful activities and to be an active participant in the community
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful candidates will be paid in line with June 26 HSE revised consolidated Care Assistant (Disability) pay scale; point 1 – €34,881 – point 15 €48,434 based on working a 39 hour week.
Should you have no prior public sector experience you will be placed on point 1 of the pay-scale above.
