Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the developer platforms and tooling across a global organisation. You will shape the platform roadmap, drive AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and self-service capabilities while partnering with security and engineering teams.

You will lead multiple teams in a distributed DevOps model, setting standards, improving automation and governance, and delivering scalable platform capabilities that boost developer productivity and business

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
• Strong understanding of observability and platform operations.

An exciting opportunity has opened for a DevOps IT Lead to join a leading global organisation. You'll take ownership of developer platforms and tooling, driving automation, governance, and self-service capabilities across engineering teams. You will get to build and lead teh roadmap and initiatives of the whole function that includes 3 separate teams across the entire organisation.

This role combines technical leadership with platform ownership, focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, secrets management, and developer enablement. Working within a distributed DevOps model, you'll partner closely with engineering and security teams to improve platform capabilities, engineering standards, and developer productivity.
