Job summary

CPL Healthcare is recruiting for a Deputy Manager in a new children’s residential service for under-12s in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

You will work closely with the Person in Charge to support daily management, uphold HIQA standards, and ensure a safe, child-centred environment. This role is ideal for an experienced social care professional with leadership, strong communication and organisational skills, and a focus on staff development within a growing service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within children’s residential services.
• Leadership experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding, and child-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of the service alongside the Person in Charge.
• Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Person in Charge to support the daily management of the service, ensure high standards of care, and provide leadership and support to the staff team.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within children’s residential services
• Previous leadership or senior experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding, and child-centred practice
• Full clean driver’s licence
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
