Job summary

Smiles Dental Dun Laoghaire is seeking a Receptionist to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. The role involves greeting patients, arranging appointments and handling payments in a busy dental practice.

You will work Wednesday 7.30-3, Thursday 7.30-3 and Saturday 9.30-4.30, earning €14.15–€16.39 per hour depending on experience. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Calm and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous administration or reception experience.
• Personable, positive and customer focused.
• Efficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• SOE/R4 experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients and create a great first impression.
• Book and amend appointments, answer calls and update patient records.
• Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with daily running of the practice.
• Inform patients about dental services and offers.
• Handle payments and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Access sensitive data while upholding privacy standards.
