Gourmet Food Parlour in Santry, Co. Dublin, invites applications for a Deli Assistant in our Catering Kitchen. You will rotate across stations, assist in preparation and service, and help maintain GFP standards in a busy hospitality setting.

The role emphasises reliability, teamwork and a willingness to learn. Candidates should be punctual, organized and able to work calmly under pressure. Full-time, on-site position with training and development opportunities.

Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting new vacancy in their Catering Kitchen in Santry.Our Deli Assistant will work on many different stations as assigned by Head Chef and Sous Chef and is responsible for ensuring that

standards are maintained for his/her section. This is a great starting point for someone looking for a career in the catering sector. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the preparation and service of all food items according to GFP recipes and standards
• Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and as per the catering quote
• Ensure good stock and waste control is practised
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
• Execute deli preparation to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering required standard of food
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulationsPerform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management
