Job summary

The Montenotte, Cork's independent luxury urban resort, seeks a Day Porter to join the MPeople team. Welcome guests in a professional, friendly manner and help maintain the highest standard of luxury service across the property.

The role includes assisting guests with luggage, offering local recommendations, arranging taxis, and supporting Reception as needed. This on-site, full-time position provides exposure to a renowned hotel with spa, cinema and award-winning dining.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Consistently deliver the highest standard of luxury service
• Promote the Hotel’s Vision and Mission statement
• Ensure areas of responsibility are well presented and maintained
• Offer assistance with luggage and escort guests to rooms
• Advise guests on local activities, tourist attractions and assist with booking tickets and reservations
• Arrange taxis and private transport for guests
• Follow service standard checklists on a daily basis
• Accept a flexible work schedule and maintain flexibility within the Concierge team
• Provide support to Reception, and where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.
