Job summary

McKesson seeks a Data Governance Senior Specialist to establish and advance governance frameworks, stewardship, data-quality governance, metadata, lineage, and regulatory controls across enterprise data assets.

You will work with Data Owners, Stewards, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure trusted data for analytics, automation, and AI-enabled decision making, while supporting ERP modernization and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Governance or related discipline.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship models.
• Experience with metadata management, lineage, reference data, and governance tooling.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive measurable outcomes.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and ongoing improvement of enterprise data-governance frameworks and policies.
• Define data-quality rules, thresholds, scorecards, KPIs, and executive metrics.
• Identify, triage, and remediate complex data-quality issues.
• Develop governance roadmaps and enablement programs across the organization.
