Job summary

McKesson in Cork, Ireland seeks a senior data/solution architect to lead Master Data Management and Governance across material, vendor, and customer domains, designing scalable SAP S/4HANA and cloud solutions.

You will translate business goals into architectures, develop business cases, and drive large transformation programs while partnering with business, product, engineering, and external stakeholders to set standards and governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in data architecture or solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data processes and technologies.
• Experience in solution architecture for enterprise platforms and integrations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and at least one of SAP MDG or Master Data domains.
• Strong analytical skills and experience supporting business cases and decisions.
• Experience leading large transformation programs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering/Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for Master Data Management and Master Data Governance solutions across material, vendor, and customer domains.
• Design scalable solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, BTP, AI-enabled capabilities, and cloud technologies.
• Translate business goals and process requirements into architectural designs.
• Develop business cases, decision materials, and architecture recommendations.
• Drive large transformation initiatives aligning architecture, governance, and delivery.
• Partner with business, product, engineering, and external stakeholders to define standards and patterns.
• Establish data governance practices including metadata, lineage, quality controls, and secure access.
• Evaluate technologies and support proofs of concept; balance value, cost, and risk.
