Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an IT & Cyber Security Lead (Permanent, Full-time) to own cybersecurity across an expanding international group. Based in Galway, Ireland, you will work with the Group IT Manager, strengthen security policies and drive regulatory compliance while overseeing an external MSP.

With a hands-on remit, you’ll shape the security function, influence decisions and deliver improvements, enjoying genuine autonomy in a growing organisation across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or IT security.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure security.
• Experience creating and maintaining security policies and documentation.
• Understanding of NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity across the wider group.
• Drive security strategy, infrastructure resilience and regulatory compliance.
• Build and shape the security function with genuine autonomy.
• Work with the Group IT Manager and oversee the external MSP.
• Strengthen incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery.
