Job summary

B&Q Tallaght in Dublin is seeking a Customer Advisor for Stock Flow. This full-time role (36.75 hours per week) is a 3-month fixed-term contract with shifts from 7.00am to 10.00pm across Monday to Sunday.

The store offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to grow within a large home improvement retailer. You will help keep the store stocked, support customers, and contribute to efficient stock flow and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to plan and prioritise in busy periods.
• Well organised, analytical thinker who keeps things simple.
• Team player capable of supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Willing to learn new technology and adapt to new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store is stocked with customer items and stock flow is efficient.
• Maintain safety and accuracy in stock handling; assist with forklift operations if licensed.
• Collaborate with team to implement improvements and meet customer needs.
• Be flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

What's the job?

You’ll make sure the store is stocked with the things our customers need, as well as products that will spark new possibilities. Efficiency and safety will be vital of course, especially if you gain your forklift license with us. You’ll get to create too – exploring new solutions and making decisions that will help grow our business, together.

A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans no matter how busy things get, you’ll feel right at home with us. You’re an organised and analytical thinker, and you know how to keep things simple. You also know how to work as a team – supporting your fellow colleagues and working through what you need to do, together. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
