We are currently recruiting an experienced Counter Manager on behalf of an established retailer to lead their watch and jewellery counter in Limerick.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance while delivering an exceptional luxury client experience. This role combines hands-on selling with team leadership and day-to-day operational ownership of the counter.
Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Sales Consultants to achieve individual and counter sales targets.
Set daily priorities, allocate tasks, and manage rotas/coverage across the counter.
Support onboarding and ongoing development of team members' product knowledge and selling skills.
Lead by example in delivering an exceptional, personalised shopping experience.
Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
Handle escalated customer queries, complaints, or complex sales with professionalism.
Drive counter sales performance, monitoring KPIs and individual/team targets.
Analyse sales data and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Advise on and assist with the sale of watches and fine jewellery, demonstrating strong product expertise.
Oversee the visual presentation of the counter, ensuring displays reflect luxury brand standards.
Manage stock levels, stock takes, and inventory accuracy.
Liaise with suppliers/brands regarding new collections, launches, and stock replenishment.
Ensure security procedures for high-value stock are strictly followed.
Oversee accurate processing of transactions and daily reconciliation.
Manage customer orders, special requests, repairs, and servicing follow-ups.
Prepare reporting for the Store Manager on counter performance, stock, and team matters.

Proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within watches or fine jewellery.
Prior experience in a supervisory, team leader, or counter management role.
