Job summary

Horizon Property Support Ltd. in Cork City is seeking a professional Receptionist for maternity cover. You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage calls, greet guests and perform general admin duties.

The role is temporary/full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with an hourly rate of €15.87. Training and development opportunities are available in a supportive, client-focused team based in Cork City, offering a friendly working environment and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in receptionist or administrative roles is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional telephone manner and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly.
• Manage the reception area and keep it tidy and presentable.
• Handle mail and deliveries; maintain visitor logs.
• Provide general administrative support including data entry and filing.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate rooms and appointments.
• Coordinate with internal departments and manage inventory.
