Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work against the schedule.
• Collaborate with Facility Users, Operations and Craft.
• Participate in constructability and safety reviews.
• Attend daily coordination meetings with Operations and others.
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts, and proposals.
• Review project scope, budget and schedule; manage multiple projects.

Role

Due to a major pharmaceutical site expansion project and internal progression, NIRAS requires an experienced CSA - Construction Supervisor / Coordinator to join our client's Site Projects team. Successful applicants will have significant previous experience of construction coordination, preferably on large scale Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical construction projects. The candidate will be working as part of the onsite projects group delivering multiple discipline projects..

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor / track work ensuring delivery of schedule in a safe and structured manner.
• Work collaboratively with Facility Users, Operations and Craft.
• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.
• Attend the morning coordination meetings with Operations etc.
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.
• Review project scope, budget and schedule.
• Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage.
• All aspects of Health & Safety on site.
• Programming works schedule and monitoring building progress, compliance with regulations and costs.

Requirements

• A BE degree in Engineering is preferred along with 5 to 10 plus years' experience in Construction environments - ideally within large scale pharma life science capital construction projects environments
• Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
