Job summary

EFOR is seeking a Construction Supervisor / Co-Ordinator to join its Site Projects team in Ireland. The candidate should have significant experience in construction co-ordination, preferably within Pharmaceutical/Bio Pharmaceutical environments, and will work on-site delivering multiple discipline projects.

Qualifications

• BE degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in construction coordination or site projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Facility Users, Operations and Craft to deliver multi-discipline projects.
• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work and ensure schedule delivery.
• Participate in constructability and safety reviews.
• Attend morning coordination meetings with Operations and others.
• Read and interpret standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.
• Review project scope, budget and schedule; manage workload across multiple projects.
• Experience with startup, commissioning/hand-over of facilities systems is advantageous.
• Ensure all health & safety on site is maintained.
• Schedule and monitor progress, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost control.

Job description

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor / Co-Ordinator to join our Site Projects team. The

candidate should have significant previous experience of Construction co-ordination,

preferably in the Pharmaceutical / Bio Pharmaceutical industries. The candidate will be

working as part of the onsite projects group delivering multiple discipline projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with the Facility Users, Operations and Craft.


• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule in a safe and structured manner.


• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.


• Attend the morning co-ordination meetings with Operations etc.


• Proficiency with reading and interpreting standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.


• Review project scope, budget and schedule.


• Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.


• Experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage.


• All aspects of Health & Safety on site.


• Programming works schedule and monitoring building progress, compliance with regulations and costs.
