The role sits within the Site Projects team, delivering multiple discipline projects and coordinating contractor activities to keep the schedule, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) and 5+ years in construction, plus strong Windows/MS Office skills;

• Proficiency in Windows-based environment and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Access).
• Experience with start-up, commissioning/hand-over is advantageous.

• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.

• Oversee Health & Safety on site.
• Program works schedule and monitor building progress, regulatory compliance and costs.

Job description

A Construction Supervisor is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational biopharmaceutical client in Limerick for a full time onsite, initial 12-month contract role.

The Construction Supervisor will join our Site Projects team. The candidate will be working as part of the onsite projects group delivering multiple discipline projects.

THE ROLE:

• Working collaboratively with the Facility Users, Operations and Craft.


• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule in a safe and structured manner.


• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.


• Proficiency with reading and interpreting standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.


• Review project scope, budget and schedule.


• Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.


• All aspects of Health & Safety on site.


• Programming works schedule and monitoring building progress, compliance with regulations and costs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred along with 5 years or more experience in Construction environments


• Candidate must have proficiency in a windows-based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)


• Experience with construction, start up, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage.
