Job description

Job Description

This role is ideally suited to a hands-on construction professional who enjoys leading site activities while remaining actively involved in project delivery.

The Role

This is not a desk-based management position. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate site works while also working alongside the site team when required. As some projects operate with lean site teams, the role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing site operations and undertaking practical carpentry and fit-out work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise day-to-day site activities.
  • Carry out hands-on carpentry, fit-out, and general construction works where required.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance across all site activities.
  • Support project scheduling, reporting, and resource planning.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and commercial controls.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Attend and contribute to site meetings, planning sessions, and risk reviews.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation.
  • Support the movement, handling, and installation of materials and equipment as required.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven carpentry background and practical site experience.
  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or a Working Foreperson.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance site supervision with hands-on project delivery.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to travel to project locations as required.
  • Experience with construction management software is advantageous.
What's On Offer?
  • Competitive salary and financial rewards.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, and Food sectors.
  • Career progression within a growing and ambitious organisation.
  • Mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
  • International opportunities in locations including Italy, Poland, and the UK.
  • Regular social events and team-building activities.
  • Exposure to diverse and technically challenging projects.
