We are hiring an experienced Construction Foreman to support long‑term delivery of projects across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow. This role involves overseeing a mix of projects typically rotating across three sites.
The ideal candidate is open‑minded, friendly, proactive and self‑motivated, with strong planning ability and excellent communication skills. This is a permanent position with long‑term progression opportunities, including the option to move to a static site after one year.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple construction sites
- Plan weekly and daily activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour, suppliers and plant.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules confidently.
- Communicate clearly with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality assurance and compliance.
- Monitor materials, deliveries, labour resources and site progress.
- Complete daily reports, HSQE documentation, timesheets and material records.
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively, ensuring efficient project delivery.
- Use email and digital platforms to communicate with clients, suppliers and project teams.
- Work independently with strong self‑motivation and initiative.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Construction Foreman, Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
- Strong ability to think ahead, plan weekly activities and coordinate multiple moving parts.
- Proven experience working with subcontractors and managing small‑to‑medium sized projects.
- Familiarity with house builds, rejuvenation works and general construction processes.
- Computer literate: able to send emails, read drawings and use Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Up‑to‑date Safe Pass and Manual Handling; additional H&S qualifications desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Friendly, open‑minded and capable of building positive working relationships.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and drive progress on site.
