Job summary

Chadwicks Group is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Branch Sales Representative, develop new business from the construction and RMI markets, promote our products, and deliver a superior level of customer service to existing customers. Based in our Cork region, the role is permanent and full‑time (39 hours) with Monday to Friday work and occasional Saturday roster.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ proven sales experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of building materials, timber, heating and plumbing products.
• Experience dealing with building contractors and specifiers; project management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a superior standard of customer service to all customers.
• Build on existing relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Work on tenders for large and small deals in the public and private sector.
• Maximising sales and profitability for the company.
• Margin management.
• Develop and update knowledge of existing and new products within the market.
• Provide support for the current sales representative with a direct line for some of the larger customer accounts.
• Assist on counter when needed.
