Chadwicks Group, part of Grafton Group Plc, is seeking a Building Materials Manager for the Sallynoggin branch. You will oversee all aspects of the Building Materials operation, drive sales, manage stock and margins, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining safety and operational standards.

The role requires substantial experience in the Building Materials industry, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in building materials industry.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet sales targets.
• Health and Safety compliance experience; people management is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Building Materials department, including stock, margins and purchasing.
• Achieve sales and margin targets for the branch.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed and maintained.
• Develop the department and build strong customer relationships.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and staff training.
• Lead by example to drive continuous improvement and efficient operations.
