Job summary

Chadwicks Group, part of the Grafton Group plc, invites applications for a Sales Representative in Drogheda. You will drive building materials sales, manage key customer relationships, and handle construction-related activities in your region.

Role involves visiting customers, preparing quotations, and contributing to account plans while ensuring term compliance and debt management. A strong knowledge of building products and contractor engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ proven building materials sales experience within the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of all building material products, existing and upcoming.
• Proven experience of dealing with building contractors and specifiers.
• Third level qualification in construction or business related discipline is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage key strategic customers and potential contractors within the CRM framework to build strong relationships and gain market advantage.
• Promote the company’s building material products and services by regularly visiting customers and contacting them per guidelines.
• Upselling additional brands such as Sam Hire and Plumb Centre.
• Preparing quotations for customers.
• Preparing Account Plans to meet sales targets and maintain relationships.
• Ensuring payment terms adherence as per customer contracts.
• Manage commercial aspects of project management activity and coordinate with technical resources.
• Collaborate with teams across functions and deliver on commitments.
• Plan visits and record visit-reports; enrich the customer database with sales data.
• Be responsible for safety and debt management within the area.
• Handle claims for products/services performance per guidelines.
