Job summary

NexVentur is recruiting a Construction Director to lead the Dublin operation and drive growth across residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and infrastructure sectors.

The role requires senior leadership, overseeing multiple projects and delivering safely, on time and within budget, while developing project teams and strengthening client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Dublin construction operation
• Oversee the delivery of multiple major projects and project teams
• Lead and develop Project Managers, Construction Managers and Site Management teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards
• Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and senior management
• Provide oversight of programme, commercial performance, resources and risk
• Support project procurement and mobilisation
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the Dublin operation
• Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Support the continued development of the company's project portfolio across Dublin
• Significant senior management experience within the Irish construction industry
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and construction teams
• Strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects
• Experience across sectors: residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, infrastructure or specialist projects

We’re currently working with an established Irish building and civil engineering contractor to appoint a Construction Director to lead and support the continued growth of their Dublin operations.

The business has an established portfolio of major projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, leisure, infrastructure and specialist developments, with a number of significant projects currently underway in Dublin.

This is a senior leadership appointment for an experienced construction professional who can take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects while helping to shape the continued growth of the Dublin operation.
