Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan in Dublin seeks an experienced Assistant Contracts Manager to support the Contracts Manager in delivering construction projects safely, on time and to high quality standards, across diverse sites.

You will coordinate planning, programming, procurement and subcontractor performance, liaising with site teams and clients, with a track record of progressing toward Contracts Manager level.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a construction management role, ideally progressing toward Contracts Manager.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contracts Manager in planning, programming and delivery of construction projects.
• Assist with monitoring project progress, costs, forecasts and reporting to achieve targets.
• Support commercial management and coordination of subcontractors, including procurement and performance monitoring.
• Liaise with Site Managers and project teams to coordinate works and monitor site operations.
• Assist with managing relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Support management of project documentation, programmes, reports and other key deliverables.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across projects.
