Job summary

Cunningham in Ireland seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead major construction projects on site in Co. Dublin. You will manage programmes, procurement, and site teams, delivering value while ensuring safety and quality.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential; experience with CDM and residential developments is desirable. This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing construction projects in UK/Ireland Tier 1/2 contractor environments.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations, contract conditions, design management, and cost reporting.
• Educated to minimum HNC/HND/Degree level (or equivalent).
• Experience with Pre-Qualification and Tendering for multi-discipline projects.
• Delivery of large-scale residential developments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects and program at detailed level for on-site delivery.
• Manage procurement and costs per company procedures to ensure best value.
• Ensure site team compliance with commercial policies and health & safety requirements.
• Attend tender handover and pre-start meetings with the site team.
• Produce progress reports, updated costs and forecasts for projects.
• Manage risk registers and implement risk controls; review CVRs monthly.
• Ensure QA files and inspection/test plans are produced and maintained.
• Build and maintain client relationships and liaise with external parties.
