Job summary

Merchants Quay Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Project Worker to deliver services at the High Park Residential Rehabilitation Centre. You will implement care planning, support clients, work as part of a team, and participate in the staff rota including weekends and overnights when required.

The role requires a minimum of one year's experience in addiction services or similar, plus a third level qualification in social care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of paid experience in addiction services or similar settings.
• Third level qualification in social care is required.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and reporting systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with service users with sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day operations of the service in line with policies.
• Act as part of the team with regular communication and attendance at meetings.
• Support care planning, group work and educational workshops for clients.
• Liaise with internal and external agencies to identify progression pathways.
