Job summary

Rehab Enterprises Limited in Ireland is seeking a Care Worker to provide a personal care service to individuals with intellectual disability and mental health difficulties within a high-support residential setting, with a focus on a positive behavioural support approach and community-based living.

The role offers permanent contracts on a full-time or part-time basis around Kerry, with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and confidentiality in all service-user interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team providing person-centered support for service users.
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.
• Full, clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Promote and actively get involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user.
• Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users.
• Ensure that all interactions with service users are approached with dignity, respect and equality and incorporating choice.
