Job summary

Merchants Quay Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Project Worker for the High Park Residential Rehabilitation Programme. This role delivers care planning, group work, and one-to-one support to clients in a 14-week residential setting, grounded in MQI's ethos and policies.

The post involves weekend and overnight rosters to support the programme. You will act as a key worker, liaise with partners, facilitate access to local services, and contribute to data recording and reporting.

Qualifications

• One year's full-time experience in an addiction service or similar setting.
• Relevant third level 7+ qualification in social care.
• Understanding of issues relating to problem drug use and homelessness.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a CRM reporting system.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day operations of the service in line with organisation policies and procedures.
• Work as part of the team with regular communication and attendance at meetings.
• Participate in all team meetings and respond to requests from the Service Coordinator.
• Support delivery of care planning, group work and educational workshops.
• Facilitate clients' access to local services and liaise with partner agencies.
• Maintain client records and report using MQI TOMIS/CRM systems.
• Contribute to training, supervision and general duties as required.
