Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Carer in Monaghan Town to provide compassionate, in-home care. You will support clients with personal care, meals, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Travel within the local area is required and training is provided. We offer hourly rates up to €18.53 with premiums for weekends, holidays, and qualifications, plus ongoing training, uniform, Garda vetting and 24/7 local support.

Qualifications

EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
Driving licence not required but beneficial.
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; we will support you to complete it.
Genuine motivation to support people in your community to live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities

Delivering personal care including mobility, dressing and continence support with dignity.
Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate records.
Travel between client visits within your local area.
Observe client wellbeing and escalate concerns to local office management.
Build a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times.
