Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our community-focused team, delivering in-home support so clients can live independently with dignity.

The role involves personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication prompts, and building trust with clients and families. You will travel between local visits, with a full induction and access to QQI Level 5 training, plus uniform and Garda vetting provided.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• Driving licence not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; employer support to complete.
• A genuine motivation to support people in the community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with meals and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and keeping records.
• Travel between client visits within the local area.
• Observing wellbeing and escalating concerns to local management.
• Building a professional relationship with client and family.
• Maintaining confidentiality and privacy at all times.
