Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking carers in Monaghan to deliver in-home support. The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication prompts, and travel between client visits in the local area.

We offer hourly rates up to €18.53, with premium rates for weekends/qualifications, mileage reimbursement, full-time or part-time positions, free QQI Level 5 training, structured induction, and access to a certified online learning portal.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• A driving licence is not required for this role but is beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable; if you do not hold it, we will fully support you to complete it.
• A genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.
• Right to Work: Applicants must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU; no visa sponsorship available.
• We are currently only accepting applications from candidates who reside in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with mobility, dressing and continence care.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication prompts and maintain accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observe client wellbeing and escalate concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Build a professional, trusted relationship with the client and family.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times.
