Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate carers in Ireland to help people live independently at home. You will provide personal care, meal support, medication prompts, and build trusted relationships with clients and their families while maintaining confidentiality.

This role offers hourly rates up to €18.53, mileage reimbursement, and flexible full-time or part-time positions. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable; training and induction are provided, with Garda vetting and 24/7

Qualifications

EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable.
A genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
Travel between client visits within your local area.
Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
