Job summary
Comfort Keepers is recruiting Healthcare Assistants/ carers to support clients to live independently at home in Monaghan. You will provide compassionate personal care, meal preparation, mobility support, and medication prompts while traveling between visits in the local area.
You will build strong client relationships, maintain privacy, and escalate concerns as needed. Role offers either full-time or part-time hours with competitive hourly rates, training (QQI Level 5 available), and uniform
Qualifications
- Essential: Minimum Experienced Required (0+ years).
- Desirable: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or higher.
- Ability to work in community/homecare settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, assisting with mobility, dressing and continence.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide medication prompts and maintain records.
- Travel between client visits within local area using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Observe wellbeing and escalate concerns to local management promptly.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and families; maintain confidentiality.
