Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home personal care across Monaghan and surrounding areas. You will help clients stay independent at home, supporting mobility, meals, and daily activities with dignity and respect.

We offer training (QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable), paid mileage, flexible full-time or part-time hours, and 24/7 support from local management. Right to work in Ireland required; driving license not mandatory but advantageous.

Qualifications

• Essential: 0 years of experience required.
• Essential: No formal qualification required.
• Desirable: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or willingness to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect, including mobility support.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and keeping timely records.
• Travel between client visits within the local area using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns to local office management.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with clients and families.
