Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is currently recruiting Health Care Assistants to provide compassionate personal and practical care across CHO6 and surrounding Dublin South East communities. Positions are available on a full-time and part-time basis, with flexible shifts to support client needs.

Applicants should meet QQI Level 5 requirements and hold a current driving licence; police clearance may be required. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and high-quality care within clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required).
• International Police Clearance where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and practical care per individual care plans.
• Support client independence and social engagement.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, and light duties.
• Maintain dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
• Report concerns, incidents or changes in condition to management per procedures.
