Job summary
Right at Home Cork is seeking compassionate care assistants to provide personal and practical support to clients in Cork City and surrounding areas. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meal prep, light housekeeping, and help clients maintain independence in their own homes.
You will observe health and wellbeing, report concerns to supervisors, and follow care plans. QQI Level 5 Healthcare (Care Skills and Older Person) is essential, with at least 1 year of experience preferred and a valid
Qualifications
- Must have QQI Level 5 Healthcare (Care Skills & Older Person) – essential
- At least 1 year healthcare experience – desirable
- Up-to-date moving & handling certificate – desirable
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – essential
- Reliable and trustworthy with commitment to high-quality care – essential
- Full clean driver's license with own transport – essential
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal and practical care tasks (dressing, washing/bathing, light housework, meal prep)
