Job summary

Right at Home Cork is hiring carers to provide quality home care in Cork City and surrounding areas. Roles include personal and practical care tasks, helping clients live independently at home, and reporting changes to supervisors.

Training is provided, with full induction and ongoing support. Flexibility in full-time or part-time hours, competitive pay with enhanced rates on Sundays and bank holidays, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person) is essential.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience is desirable.
• Up‑to‑date moving & handling certificate is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reliable and trustworthy with a strong commitment to high quality care is essential.
• Full clean driver’s license with own transport is essential.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Right at Home team in Cork. Right at Home provides quality professional home care to our clients to enable them to live independently in their own homes.

Areas we cover include: Cork City and Suburbs (such as Wilton, Bishopstown, The Lough, Ballyphehane, Douglas, Mahon, Blackrock etc)

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Pay rates from €14.45 per hour plus travel time and mileage.

Job Summary

• Assisting with both personal and practical care tasks e.g. dressing, washing/bathing, light household work, meal preparation

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
