Job summary

FoodCloud is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator (Community Focus) to join the Ireland Operations team in Tallaght/Dublin. You will recruit, coordinate, and supervise volunteers for events and gleaning activities, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and health & safety awareness, with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work and some travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ programme coordination experience (non‑profit experience is an asset).
• Second‑level education required; a third‑level degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a FoodCloud ambassador and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptable problem‑solver with a positive attitude in fast‑paced environments.
• Proactive, innovative self‑starter capable of prioritisation and managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer Coordination: Deliver day‑to‑day coordination, recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, and training of community volunteers to meet FoodCloud's needs.
• Programme Development: Manage and develop Community Volunteer programme, oversee rewards and recognition, training needs, and health and safety adherence.
• Communications: Be primary point of contact for outgoing volunteer communications.
