Job summary

Corlann invites applications for the role of Volunteer & Student Placement Coordinator (Ref: 58/2026). This permanent part-time post (42 hours per fortnight) supports people with intellectual disability and autism by developing and coordinating a high‑quality volunteer programme and student placement system within Corlann.

The successful candidate will recruit, vet, induct, and support volunteers, maintain records and compliance documentation, and work as part of a team to uphold

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification at QQI Level 7 or higher in Social Care, Community Development, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Experience with adults with intellectual disabilities/autism is desirable.
• Experience maintaining records, trackers, compliance documentation, or similar administrative systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and oversee a high-quality volunteer programme and student placement system.
• Recruit, vet, induct, and support volunteers and students while upholding safeguarding standards.
• Work as a team to ensure ethos and service needs are met and times may vary.
