Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Community Liaison Officer to join our Stakeholder Engagement Team, supporting delivery of complex infrastructure projects from inception through to construction. You will act as the main contact between the project team and communities, helping build trust and transparent engagement.

You will engage landowners, residents, community groups and elected representatives, prepare messaging, letters, leaflets and web content, and support conflict resolution with

Qualifications

• Degree in land or planning related discipline (e.g., Geography, Planning, or Estate/Property Management).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience on infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Flexible, capable of multi-tasking and prioritising workloads.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders including landowners, residents, community groups, businesses, and elected representatives.
• Be the primary contact for community queries, issues, and feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and feedback.
• Discuss land impact with landowners and agree mitigation measures.
• Support conflict resolution and constructive dialogue between stakeholders.
• Contribute to project communications (letters, brochures, leaflets, display material, web content, newsletters, press releases).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure community needs are reflected in information.
