Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland seeks a Stakeholder Manager to lead engagement strategies across infrastructure, energy and environment projects nationwide. You will coordinate with statutory bodies, local authorities, elected representatives and communities to ensure robust stakeholder planning and meaningful consultation.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic oversight, manage risks and mentor a team of engagement professionals, while supporting business development to grow AtkinsRéalis’

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline as listed.
• Extensive experience delivering stakeholder engagement and public consultation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Irish planning, environmental and regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and communication plans for major infrastructure and development projects.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing strategic stakeholder management advice and ensuring delivery of project objectives.
• Lead and coordinate engagement with statutory bodies, local authorities, and elected representatives throughout development and consenting processes.
• Manage relationships with non-statutory stakeholders, including communities, interest groups, landowners and the public.
• Monitor and manage stakeholder-related project risks and support resolution of complex issues.
• Coordinate stakeholder identification, mapping and analysis to inform risk and opportunity management.
• Provide strategic advice on stakeholder issues, sensitivities and opportunities.
• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of public consultation programmes in support of development and consenting processes.
• Support teams in communicating complex technical information clearly to audiences.
• Support governance, reporting and programme management activities related to stakeholder engagement.
• Lead, mentor and support Stakeholder Engagement Consultants and team members.
• Contribute to resource planning, project management and continuous improvement of engagement processes.
• Support business development activities, client engagement, networking and proposal preparation.
• Promote AtkinsRéalis as a market leader in stakeholder engagement and public consultation in Ireland.
