Essential requirements include a Level 5 qualification, minimum 3 years' experience, strong communication, time management and teamwork. The role emphasises HACCP compliance, sanitation, and stock control in a busy service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a commis chef role.
• Level 5 qualification incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied/ Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Team player with commitment to professional development.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes in shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for breakfast, lunch and events.
• Maintain sanitation and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation schedule.
• Understand and follow HACCP procedures and kitchen systems.
• Manage stock levels, rotation and waste in line with HACCP.
• Ensure security protocols are followed and stock replenishment is completed.
