Job summary

Our Client in Meath is seeking a qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE to join their MNC finance team on a hybrid basis. You will develop financial models, support management reporting, and contribute to strategic commercial analysis.

The role involves preparing quarterly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end reporting, with exposure to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least 2 years of PQE and strong academic background.
• Ability to network and collaborate across multiple teams to provide financial insights.
• Strong commercial and financial analytical skills with a focus on developing and maintaining financial models.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with executive management and non-finance functions.
• Strong academic track record.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a variety of analytical work.
• Advising on the accounting implications of various business proposals
• Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, B/S recs, year-end accounts
• Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning
• Compliance - Ensuring financial compliance across various structures
• Interpretation and application of financial standards
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Presenting to senior stakeholders
• Reviewing and preparation of projects from a financial and commercial standpoint
• Other ad-hoc analysis work across the business
