Job summary

Rush Nursing Home in Rush, Co. Dublin, is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager on a full-time basis to lead clinical practice and ensure high standards of care.

You will oversee medication management, staff supervision and training, auditing, and resident assessments, working closely with the Director of Nursing.

The role requires a BSc in General Nursing, NMBI registration, and proven leadership in a nursing setting; flexible, hands-on approach encouraged.

Qualifications

• BSc in General Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Previous managerial training/experience is an advantage.
• Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
• Sound decision making ability.
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ensure home policies and best clinical standards are practiced.
• Lead staff on clinical practice and supervision of care.
• Oversee medication management and audits with the Director of Nursing.
• Review admissions and safety, infection control, and risk management.
• Assist with Director of Nursing responsibilities during leave.
• Foster effective team communication with nursing and support staff.
