Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd in County Dublin is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager - Night Supervisor to lead a nursing home team in providing high-quality, person-centred care. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with GPs and pharmacists, and ensure compliance with HIQA standards and internal policies.

The role requires a BSc in General Nursing, registration with the NMBI, and strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSc in General Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Registered on the NMBI Live Register.
• Managerial training or experience is advantageous.
• Proven leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to motivate others and work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing and social care.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and company policies.
• Monitor residents' clinical conditions and maintain care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and update care plans.
• Supervise medication management, including administration and audits.
• Lead, support, and develop Staff Nurses and Care Assistants.
• Coordinate with GPs and pharmacists on resident care.
• Promote effective communication with residents, relatives and visitors.
• Assist Director of Nursing with rosters, reviews and coverage during absences.
• Foster a safe, professional working environment and drive continuous improvement.
