Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd in County Dublin is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead nursing care for a dedicated Care Centre. This full-time permanent role involves coordinating admissions, managing referrals, and ensuring HIQA compliance.

The CNM will support the ADON, supervise staff, and maintain high-quality, person-centred care while upholding regulatory standards and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration clinical experience, managing patient caseloads.
• Hold NMBI registration and live on the Irish register.
• Management Qualification Level 6+ or actively working toward it.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in older people care or nursing home settings.
• Good IT skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals from hospitals and discharge teams.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments to determine patient suitability.
• Collaborate with the ADON on discharge plans and dates.
• Coordinate admission of referrals to the Care Centre.
• Act as case manager with the Patient Flow team.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and health policies.
• Maintain accurate assessment and referral records.
• Attend daily handovers and MDT meetings.
• Provide nursing unit coverage as needed.
• Liaise with doctors regarding admissions and prescriptions.
• Monitor outpatient appointments and follow-ups.
