Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Account Operations professional to support the Key Account Manager and ensure smooth client service across Europe. The role involves guiding customers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and proactively resolving issues for consistent delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have a background in account management or client services, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed to meet key clients across Europe/UK/Nordics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in account management desirable but not required.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and align with customer business objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and support business growth.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations effectively.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Ireland; no Visa sponsorship will be provided.
• A full clean driving licence is required.
• Flexibility to travel within Europe/UK/Nordics to meet with key clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the Key Account Manager in delivering smooth account operations and maintaining strong client relationships
• Act as a key operational point of contact, providing expert guidance and support to customers
• Oversee day-to-day account operations to ensure seamless service and product delivery
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Commercial, and cross-functional teams to meet client requirements
• Proactively manage and resolve operational issues to minimize disruption and maintain customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and track projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and agreed objectives
• Provide operational insights and expertise to help customers maximize the value of services
• Monitor, report, and present on key operational metrics (e.g. rack counts, OTD, issue resolution), while identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement
