Job summary

INNOVATE is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join its Professional Services team on a permanent basis in Gorey, with travel to client sites. The role blends hands-on networking with a strong emphasis on cyber security and secure infrastructure.

You will implement and support security technologies, strengthen client networks and deliver security projects across a broad range of environments, using Cisco and Meraki solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in network security or related field.
• Experience configuring firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity.
• Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless.
• Hands-on Cisco networking experience; Meraki knowledge preferred.
• Clear communication and client-facing skills.
• Valid EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, remote access).
• Design and secure network architectures and controls.
• Configure Cisco and Meraki networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot security incidents and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with clients to translate security requirements into solutions.
